Overall responsibility for the day to day management and running of SLX Ltd, along with the strategic direction of the business
Why do you think The Lighting Program is important?
I started my career at the age of 17 within this industry working in a company through the Youth Training Scheme. So it is very important to me that we support young people by giving them the opportunities and access to equipment, and support to assist them to develop their skills and experience.
If you could give the students one piece of advice, what would it be?
Never be afraid of having a go at something, we all learn so much more from trying something new than not.

I would have gone into something creative, like marketing, brand development

Cycling, walking, running, being with my family

Steering the business through Covid-19

Creating a stage with a built in scissor lift to raise Kylie Minogue onto a raised dais for her big entrance in a temporary venue in Paris.
