The spotlight is on Nancy, a talented member of our Lighting Programme cohort of 23/24, as her exceptional lighting design took centre stage in The Bristol Old Vic Theatre School’s production of “Into The Woods” at the Redgrave Theatre recently.

In this captivating dark and comedic adventure, Nancy’s talents played a pivotal role in bringing the narrative to life. As the Baker and his Wife navigate the quest to break a family curse, Nancy’s lighting design heightened the atmosphere, creating a mesmerising visual backdrop. From highlighting the suspenseful moments to accentuating the whimsy of magic beans and red cloaks, her work shone through.

Katy Lowe our Dry Hire Manager, attests to the impact of Nancy’s talent, describing her lighting as nothing short of stunning!

Our Lighting Programme provided a whole host of equipment that enabled Nancy to bring this production to life. From Ayrton Diablos to Nandobeam S3 and RUSH Pars. We take pride in knowing that our Lighting Programme continues to empower our students. With our commitment to fostering creativity and technical capability, we look forward to seeing more from our cohort of 23/24 as this year progresses.
