We’re proud to support the next generation of lighting professionals through our Lighting Programme. As part of our 24/25 cohort, Ghoti Fisher recently took on the challenge of lighting two productions in rep as part of her final year at LAMDA.
Designing for The Last Days of Judas Iscariot (directed by Tristan Fynn-Aiduenu) and Orlando (directed by Hannah Joss) offered Ghoti a rare opportunity to explore two very different theatrical worlds side by side. Her thoughtful and expressive design approach brought each production to life in its own unique way.
“Designing these two productions in rep was one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve had designing. These productions allowed for so much creative freedom in the lighting and the extra equipment provided by SLX allowed me to create the beautiful images I could only imagine before.”
– Ghoti Fisher
Through the Lighting Programme, Ghoti had access to a wider range of industry-standard fixtures, empowering her to realise complex ideas. From the bold visual moments to subtle shifts in atmosphere, her work reflected a confident and intuitive design voice.
Supporting Ghoti through these productions speaks to the heart of our mission, enabling emerging designers to push boundaries, refine their skills and prepare for the professional world with the tools and backing they need.
