Sam Rendell

Sam is responsible for supporting the demands on the warehouse whether that be preparing and packing or managing the dispatch and return of equipment. He is a highly skilled onsite technician dealing with rigging lighting, sound, and staging, with his strengths lying in scenic elements in particular. More than 25 years ago Sam began his career in live events graduating from the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, having gained a distinction in Prop making. With work ranging from High opera at Covent Garden, to providing technical support for students studying drama at GCSE and A level and many things in between, Sam’s experience has been very broad and centred on the practical application of often big ideas. A keen model maker he can often be found covered in sawdust, glue, and paint! Of the numerous construction projects undertaken over the years, his most proud creation is a replica Police box (TARDIS) used for many years at conventions and fundraisers.
