We kept our responses to the brief simple, but worked them to maximum effect. We used a full-stage colour wash using MAC Quantum Wash and MAC Viper Performance profiles for the GOBO projection. We also added a floor range of Rush PARS lights. We lit Sarah front-on, but used additional Source 4 10° tungsten profiles on the theatre balconies to make sure we weren’t creating shadows on her face. This approach worked well, and provided flattering and live-event-ready lighting for the show. To provide all this, we used a mainly in-house team, and hired a small team of freelance professionals, too.
