We are thrilled to announce that SLX has officially become a member of isla. isla is a non-profit organisation founded by event professionals and industry leaders focusing on a sustainable future for events.
One of the main drivers behind our decision to join isla was the incredible opportunity it presented for participation in events, engagement in members’ forums and meeting fellow members focussed on sustainability. As a company committed to sustainability, we want to be actively involved in conversations from the supplier side. This would allow us to share our knowledge and journey in sustainability, contributing our unique perspectives and insights to the wider community.
Our primary goal is to engage with like-minded members within our industry. We are eager to discuss sustainability, common challenges, and innovative solutions. Being part of a community that shares our passion for sustainability will undoubtedly foster productive discussions and collaborations.
isla allows us to connect with all members of the events ecosystem including agencies, fellow suppliers, and other stakeholders who play a vital role in making the events industry more sustainable. By working collaboratively with the entire ecosystem, we can drive positive change and collectively strive for a more sustainable future.
There’s so much to look forward to as we start our exciting journey with isla. One of the things that we are looking forward to is the opportunity for all our staff to participate in isla’s sustainability training programmes. These initiatives will not only enhance our team’s knowledge but also empower us to take meaningful actions towards sustainability.
